Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Thank you to those who attended and contributed to making our 3rd Annual Group Sales Conference, All Aboard, hosted kindly by Secrets Capri Riviera Cancun, such a successful event.
The conference brought together the group sales executives from each AMResorts property and corporate offices for the third year in a row. The attendees enjoyed participating in three days of activities that included themed group dinners, a training session and informative seminar, a discussion about best practices, a CSR activity benefiting Los Cabos and a final night award ceremony. Doug Kennedy of Kennedy Training Network brought his expertise and knowledge of the resort industry to teach attendees about best practices and how to be the best group sales executive with interactive exercises and discussions. Violeta Sales, Corporate Director of Group Sales, and the rest of the AMResorts Meetings & Incentives national sales team led a discussion about best practices in the meetings & incentives industry. We have received overwhelming positive feedback on the conference, particularly regarding the excellent discussions throughout the seminars.
We’d like to bring special attention to and extend our thanks to all attendees who contributed to the CSR activity, Cabo Brilla. This year, we chose to collect clothing, home goods, food and general necessities for our AMResorts family in Los Cabos affected by Hurricane Odile. In total, the attendees collected a total of 22 boxes of clothing and provisions, which were sent directly to Los Cabos where they will be distributed to AMResorts employees in need. Additionally, we would like to congratulate to the Group Sales Managers and Directors of Sales who were recognized at All Aboard for their outstanding achievements over the past year.
